The "Plant Power-Ups" challenge consists of two lesson plans, four posters, three worksheets, two homework sheets and one "Why This Matters" information sheet.
Let kids dive into knowledge of the rich and boosting macronutrients found in plants with the "Plant Power-Ups!" challenge. Children will identify why it is important to eat protein and calcium, name at least two sources of protein and calcium, name one food that is good for each body part (brain, stomach, heart, eyes, skin) and connect food with how it can help the body.
